Default What is this switch?
I have a 92’ Laredo and discovered this while swapping out the headlight switch. It’s above the hood release, and not visible until I removed the lower shroud.

Probably a kill switch to try to reduce theft. Probably not an ejection seat switch burried that deep.

Or a valet switch for an aftermarket keyless entry/alarm. I have a similar one but located in a different place.

Follow the wires. Could be a kill switch, or some other accessory, like lights or fan.
