The first picture is a vacuum line that comes out of the firewall on the passenger side. The electrical connector comes out of the harness next to the air filter box. Been wondering for years what these are supposed to be connected to.

Any ideas?

Vacuum line goes to the heater valve. Looks that way anyway

The connector looks like the Data Link Connector (DLC).

Thanks on the electrical connector. For the vacuum line, I'm not seeing a heater valve. Nothing in reach of this line appears to be disconnected.

I'm stumped. Mines a 1994 if that matters.

The HCV(heater control valve)would be inline with your heater hoses near the firewall. Probably done been eliminated. It's not needed and was discontinued later on. Plug up that vacuum line and your good to go.

X2, plug it. For fun you might see if it's sucking when you have the heat turned on. It may have been caped inside, or you have had a vacuum leak anytime you had the heat on!

First one is for the heater valve. Most people bypass them and run hose from the heater core to the pump/t stat...

Yea. Mine must have been bypassed as I don't see it. Heater lines run from the thermostat to the heater core. I'll plug and carry on. Thanks for solving the mystery.
