yea i want to get new bumbers after i get my lift on so i was jw what my jeep would look like without the black plastic on the bumbers (i colored it red in the picture)
would my jeep look gay if i took off the plasic of would it look okay

well the reason i ask is becouse i hate the part that falls down word. the part where my bottom fog lights are. and i want new front and rear bumpers but you know the jeep 1 thing at a time.

Get an older front bumper and the older rear bumper end caps and it will look awesome check out XJjeepthing's jeep i think he has done it and it looks pretty cool if you ask me

I got your PM, glad to help. Here is what I did. I'm still running my factory bumper. I removed the big bulky end caps front and rear. Sanded and painted the bumpers with bedliner. I bought a set of pre 96 front and rear end caps and modified them to fit. Really simple and looks and works well. The rear there is a set of brackets riveted to the fender, I ground the heads off the rivets and removed the brackets. Heres a few pics. Any question feel free to ask.

very nice jeep. i think it would work in the rear bumper for my jeep but i dont think it will work for front becouse as u can see mine are different and my jeep is a 2000.

You and him have the same jeep and front bumper. I have a 2001 and i have the same bumper as both of you. His looks different because he used pre-96 end caps on his front bumper but the main bumper is the same as yours. Take off your end caps and you will see.
