Default wheel and tire size

im new here and was wondering if you a 31 x 10.5 tire would fit on a 7" wheel or would it be better to have an 8" rim rize of 15"

7" wide would be the minimum recommended. There's some really good tire/wheel info over at TireRack.com. Go to "tires by size", pick the size and click on "specs".

7" works just fine. But if you plan on going bigger and are having to by wheels now that get the 8" so you dont have to later.
