It depends on the actual tread width and sidewall bulge... be careful not to pop a bead.
also, if the tire does not match the rim it will feel like your driving on flats much worse than expected, if you air down.
also... (again), your ability to turn will be reduced.. rubbing the fenders.. in short, do it right or not at all.
you will need at least a 3.75 backspace and should find a wider rim. call a tire shop, they might not even mount them if they feel it wont be safe.
