Can you swap the front wheels side-to-side?

That looks liek light surface rust should be alright with that.
Hm looks like the axle is centered.

I would put my attention towards the wheels
Does it vib more than wit the old wheels?

Reason Im asking is maybe the wheels arent exactly the same, it is possible that the hub size/offset could be slightly different.

Maybe measure off the frame and see if the axle seems centered? Also, probably a tough one, but If I had another track bar I might compare it to the other and try to see if changing will help. Could it have been in a wreck?

Anyway here is a diagram, not sure which year> https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f2/adj...ck-bar-134455/

According to Carfax, it has never been in an accident. It does have some dings in the doors, but i dont think that would off-center an axle..

As far as the front wheels go, I had a 215 and a 225 on the front. When I was getting the tires swapped onto the rims, I told the guys at walmart to get rid of the 225 so I'd have all matching 215's. So much for listening to me. I now have all matching 215's so the front wheels look pretty much even.

The backs are the only ones off. Im not really sure where to measure off the frame or anything. I guess I'll try to get them off and measure their offsets. From the naked eye when looking at the hub and how far it sits inside the rim, they both look like similar offsets.

The distance from where the leaf spring is mounted on the rear axle to the wheel hub is equal on both sides..

Hey! Sounds good in a warped way. So you had the wrong tires on there.

I'm pretty sure a collision could result in an off center axle.
