Whelen lightbar mounting?
This is an odd one but, I have an old whelen lightbar with full amber lenses, takedown and alley lights. My 98 jeep XJ is a police package and I thought it's only natural to help it live it's glory days once more. Mainly for the takedowns and Ally lights on the mountain.
My xj does not have a factory roof mount and the thing had a police lightbar at one point. I was wondering if anyone had any pictures or mounting advice for this particular model. I have a basic idea on how it should mount but I'd like the forum opinion.

When I purchased the lightbar, I had to remove it from the truck it was on. It used self tapping screws and went right into the body behind the roof weatherstrip but I rather not do that to my jeep. Perhaps the gutter mounts are a good thing to look into thanks!
