When to replace Ac accumulator
I got an air conditioner compressor package that has the AC accumulator with it, but it doesn't seem to be the same size as the old one. If nothing else it certainly is not as beefy as the old one. My question is can I reuse the old one or do I just need to pony up and get one to replace it or just try to get this new one to fit in the bracket (it's a little smaller in circumference so doesn't fit snug)?

Accumalator, filter/dryer.
Yeah, you don't want to reuse the old one.
Normally if there is a warranty involved it has to be replaced. The system has to be charged by a shop certified to handle refrigerants. Otherwise idk if the compressor manufacturer will honor the warranty.
That's the way it worked last time I replaced an a/c compressor, which was just a couple years ago.
