Where to buy a replacement rear window separator
Hi, I need to buy/ fix this part as it is too short & creates a lot of wind noise.
ani idea/recommandation ?
went to the junkyard and they were also broken.
Sure one of you already find a solution as it seems very common.
thanks

That should be what you're after, PRECISION GRB612184 is fixed glass side, PRECISION GRB612084 is opening glass side.
I would imagine that you could lower the window down and pull the strip up, maybe while also lifting the window at the same time to reduce grip on the glass side. But do not use a lube spray unless you don't want to glue it back in place. Then you could use a very thin layer of body sealant adhesive to stick the strip back in place. I say very thin as you don't want a lump of sealant jamming the strip into the window.

Also, I'm very interested in your project and how it turns out. I have the same problem on my Jeep too on all 4 windows.
I thought about trying to make my own small piece of trim up there by putting some Saran wrap in the window channel and rolling the window up and then filling in the gap with JB weld or something on the outside and inside of the window. Then when it dries and you roll the window down to pull the Saran wrap out you can glue some thin felt in there to not scratch the window. And sand it and paint it to match shape and color. The Saran wrap is so JB weld doesn't stick to the window.
