Where to find crossmember?
I've got a 99 cherokee, 4.0L, 5-speed manual. And my crossmember is cracked, right at the center, and is weak (has a lot of flex), so i NEED a new one. But i'm having trouble finding one. Called the local jeep dealership, and they said that part has been discontinued, but they gave me a part number-52003929AB. Didn't have much luck finding one at my local junkyard, there is another junkyard somewhat nearby i could try, but if i don't have any luck there, does anyone know of anywhere where i could order one?

In 84 I needed an Audi 1/2 shaft. A wrecker in Portland put it on a Greyhound! (I didn't even know they shipped!) Pretty neat back then, having a schedule and knowing when it was coming. Just a thought. Also a real, first class welder could repair yours. I think.

A Junkyard or Ebay will be your best bet for an OE one. Rugged Ridge makes a "Havy-Duty" one if you want an upgrade:

Thanks for the replies! Another question...are they compatible, meaning will a crossmember from an automatic work on a manual cherokee? Or are they totally different?

They should interchange. I think the only different part would be the transmission mount, but that easily unbolts and moves to the new one.

try www.car-part.com to see what computerized salvage yards have.
You may find one near enough to you to pick one up or cheap enough to have it shipped.

As far at the cross-member....Or any swap question, I'd check around and see if the part numbers are the same.
Try the above link. It asks what you have. See if the search results are the same.
