who can idenify these pictures???
Ok guys got another problem that needs to be fixed. My heater (as stated in similar topics) blows out nice and hot but.......puts out about 85% defrost, 7.5% floor, and 7.5% top vents no matter what its set on. Trying to hunt this down I found I wasnt getting any vaccum to my control panel inside the cabin.
Also when motor is completey cold (only in cold weather) you have to apply slight accelerater until motor is warmed otherwise the motor dies. Also doesnt idle right but my alternator may be held accountable for some of this?
Upon further investigation I found these two electrical connections unhooked(one even broke), and one hose (bout 5/8") coming out of my firewall. My haynes didnt help me much so I was hopeing you all could.
Found hidden below the battery tray

Found lying in my engine bay with no leads as where it goes

Found coming out of firewall beside oil filter, goes into nothing

Jeep is an 01 cherokee sport 4.0L automatic. Runs great except idle and cold starts.

I wonder if that one under the battery is the one that senses if you have a battery or not, I think its used if the battery gets unhooked or if the rig tips over and the battery comes dislodged. Something to that nature, But I think for the rig to run it has to have it so maybe not.

that last one is just some kinda vent for i think your heat or A/C. it can also be used as a water source in an emergency haha. its nothin to worry about though. not sure about the others.

after further investigation the wire under my batt is for an optional cruise control. As for the the big tube, drain for heater core. The other one is still a mystery as if it even belongs to my jeep. Either way I have great heat and my 4.0L runs good. But hopefully a good cleaning of my IAC will fix my cold start/idle problem.

It may be the heater box overflow. It was on some XJs as a way for sweat or a leak to exit without filling the passenger floor with coolant. Only seen it on 2 XJs and one was a 96 I used to have the other was in a scrapyard.
