Why would injector #6 keep clogging?

Default Why would injector #6 keep clogging?

So I have a slight misfire on cylinder 6. i narrowed it down to the fuel injector getting clogged. I grabbed like 20 from the junk yard and keep replacing them whenever they go bad. They usualy last for about 100-150 miles or so before clogging. I've replaced the fuel filter. I've never had any other issues with any other injector besides #6. Has anybody else had this problem?

If you swap a clogged 6th injector to #1 does the misfire follow the injector? Have you taken the rail off with injectors intact turned it tips up turn the engine over?

I havent swapped the injector to another location yet but I will do that as soon as I get home. And fuel is still getting through it because the engine runs pretty much normal. When I unplug the injector then it runs like trash

It's possible somehow the fuel rail got contaminated fuel in it and all the junk washed down the the last injector in the rail. OR the rail is rusty inside with the same result. I'd swap the rail.

This is definitely a possibility. Consider swapping the injectors around like mentioned before, but a new rail would make sure this problem is fixed. Also, look into cleaning the injectors. It may not be necessary, but it couldn't hurt.
