ok i have a 97 xj country 4.0

when driving all is fine till i let off the gas. then the rpms will drop down to idol then go back up to 1000rpms and stay there. when i stop then they will drop down to 750 which is idol. i am at a los i have looked everything over even tried new tps and iac. PLEASE HELP!

it that just a sign of the map sensor going bad or does that mean it is bad.

 

i unplugged mine and plugged it back in while it was running and that fixed mine... may be bad. may be poorley connected. try that though.
