I've got 30x9.50 on my '98 with no lift. Had to trim the front bumper end caps & front flares a little.

One more question, I already know im probably not gonna get tires cuz my grandparents (the people nice enough to buy me my jeep) would absolutely KILL ME if i put a lift kit on, and tires are a bit expensive so I'll see if I can talk them into letting me get either 225, 235, or some 30's. And for some reason whenever I cut my wheel all the way and make a turn at only 5 or so MPH my tires squeal and leave a skid mark, why does it do this? Im still running on stock tires. Something kind of michelin's

To the OP. My advice is to put the right sized tire under it, and save your money up for your build. When you do this, you want to do it once, trust me. LOL!! Buy a quality kit, and no, they are not cheap! When you lift your Jeep to level you want, you can decide to trim or not to trim, and that will determine your tire size. FYI, you will not be able to fit a large tire, without trimming, unless you lift it very high, and you do not want that. I have around 5"s of lift, and mine is trimmed quite a bit, and the pinch welds are beat over, I have stock bump stops, and rub at full stuff front and rear with 33x12.50s. Just an example...
