will a 31 fit in stock spare spot?

I know my 31" A/T fit and it seems a few others' did too. It was really tight, but it fit. Really glad I have the carrier now though - frees up a lot of space! A 31" M/T won't fit due to the tread lugs being a little larger than the A/T.

gettin A/T's so guess ill be good, if not ill just lay it in the back.....also, since mines a 2 door do i have more cargo space? or is it the same? heard both 2 and 4 doors are the same length so idunno
