plan on doin CAI and a new exhaust to get some extra ponys and hopefully better MPG, so my question is whether my jeep will sound like a honda civic after im done or not. If it will, ill just leave the exhaust how it is

 

I dont think it will sound to bad. A few of my friends have flowmasters on there wranglers with 4 cyl and they dont sound bad, so im guessing a magnaflow exhaust wouldn't be to bad. Although in this clip it sounds kinda ricey.

 

If you do a 2.5-3" full length tail pipe it should be OK.

I think flowmaster will be a much better choice. I miss them coz my better half found it loud and hated it so I had to uninstall.
And yeah! The sound clip is ricey, sometimes videos can sound different.

 

I put a magnaflow cat back and a catalytic converter on recently. I like the sound so much better than the stock - its actually a mellow tone, until you tromp on it...plus no cat rattles at idle...the price was a no brainer as well with the recycled cat (70.00) and the rebate for the cat back (75.00) total upgrade ended up being 70.00!!

3" is wayy to big for a 4 cylinder.
