Default Will these shock bushings work? (Installed pic)

Hey all - bought a 95 with a broken bar pin on one of the rear shocks so the shock would just beat against the body with every bump. I put in bar pin eliminators, but the bushings came out along with the bar pins, and I figured I should just get new bushings anyway. The shocks are Rough Country, whatever came with their 6.5" lift kit. I called RC for new bushings and they couldn't sell them separate, but said they're standard size. I've struck out everywhere except AutoZone where I found some that look a little different but at least fit; I was able to force them in by hand where the old ones with the bar pins absolutely needed a ball joint press and some WD40 to get out.

Will these work?? Guess I'm not sure if the BPEs will help hold it in position or if it's important for the shock to stay in the middle of the bushing - kinda seems like it should stay so it's not hitting the BPE brackets?? Also these are hourglass shape and the old ones aren't

Thanks all!

$9 for an entire SHOCK???? Ok is rockauto not the best or what???

I was actually just typing an update - though the new bushings really didn't look like the old ones, once I got the metal sleeve inside it and put them into the bar pin brackets, they got snug real quick - sure looks to be a perfect fit. One was about 1/8" too wide, which I didn't notice right away, and when trying to gently hammer it into place, it started to shear off the last 1/8" of the bushing. I said some unfortunate things and tried a few other things before realizing.......I could just trim the rest of the bushing off. Which I did, and it went in and is as snug as the other side. So I can put that to bed - thanks all!!

Glad you got it sorted
Yeah nine bucks isn't bad . My new to me XJ was bouncing like a clown car.
Changed all four for 36 bucks . Amazon priced them at 20.21 a piece. The left rear was completely dead and the rest weren't far behind.

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I am always amazed at their prices - I just paid 15 bucks each for some nice Centric rotors for my new 8.8 rear - it's just amazing you can get anything for that cheap - even that much material!!
