Default Wiper fluid issue

My xj won't squirt wiper fluid, the resi looks to be full and it also looks like its in the fender -.-am I right? But I think the wiper motor or motors are shot cuz I don't hear any winy motor noise when I pull the lever, where would I go to access the motor? And is there 1 or 2 cuz I know it squirts out the back to and I was wondering if there was another back in the hatch or something.

If anybody can help or has had this info before it would save me a lot of time trying to find the motor.

If its a 97-01 it's in the driver fender up under the black covering.

You need to remove that well plastic thing to gain access.

If there's no noise or squirt chances are the pump is dead, there's two pumps right on the tank up in the fender and let me look up the part # I just used to do mine yesterday it was like 20-25$ for both from rockauto.

This says its just for the front, but the pump is plug and play for the rear and has the harness for the front, I think they just try to make you pay more for a "rear" that doesn't come with the harness. Stupid lol.

Alright cool, I thought I was gonna have to take off my whole fender lol, so where is the rear pump? Is it still up by the resi/well thing or in the tailgate?

They're both sticking out of the tank. The top one is the rear and the bottom is the front. If you gain access you can't miss them.

Like Storm said, they're quite apparent. They just pull out, they're held in by rubber seals.
