Default Wiper pivot loose not bushings

2001 xj. So i am trying to fix my wipers from hitting the body and being loose. I have already taken the linkage out and tightened up the motor bolts and replaced the plastic bushings. My problem is the actual pivot arms where the wipers arms mount to is loose with up and down play. Is there any fix for my issue or do i need a whole new linkage assembly to fix my problem?

Is this pivot what you talking about?
I have the same problem even though this is my replacement part. It's pressed in. I would like to know a repair for it too.
