Wiring diagram Leak detection pump
Hello,
I have been trying to fix my check engine light P0441 code for a while. Tried all the usual, gas cap, purge solenoid, smoke check system no leaks, finally looked at an alldata wiring diagram which shows a white wire in terminal 2 of leak detection pump going to a splice connector that also goes to purge solenoid white wire and continues to a fuse on the interior fuse box.. So I check purge solenoid white wire and it has 12V with key on, I go to the Leak detection pump and check all 3 pins and does not have 12V. This would tell me somewhere from the splice to the Leak detection pump losing power. Problem comes when I start taking apart harness, there is no solid white wire at terminal 2 of the leak detection pump, the wire there is green with an orange stripe, I follow that wire and it goes to a splice in the harness but not the same splice the purge valve goes to. So basically I am following an incorrect wiring diagram. Anyone have any other diagrams besides alldata to share????
Thank you

Yes that is the incorrect one for my vehicle, (not sure if diagrams are mislabelled for the year, or maybe my vehicle was a lare production and wired like the 2000) the 2000 xj diagram matches my vehicle. Strange

Look at your door plate decal. It should show your actual date of manufacture. My 2000 WJ is a 99 built in August and marketed as a 2000. My XJ is a 2000 built in March of that year.
