Hello, CF Folks:
Question regarding pre-95 steering columns. My 91 came factory with a non-tilt column. I am fat and tall, therefore would benefit from a tilt column. I bought one off eBay that was advertised to fit 91-93 XJs.
When it arrived, I had to swap the little mount for the parking cable. No big deal. But now I am finding that the two right side plugs aren't quite working. It's the metal connector on top of the column. The new column has the same connector "blade" configuration as my old one, except it's flipped upside down. My black plug fits fine. The blue plug is too big.
Were there wiring differences between these years I should be worried about? I can easily just bridge the spades with connectors, or even 3D print an adapter. But now I'm worried the wiring is different.
Thanks!

Appreciate you following this! Further research shows this is the ignition switch. And I think it just MOUNTS to the column, no wires running in. Might be swappable after all, and easily!

So it looks like the guy who rebuilt it slapped on an aftermarket ignition switch. I found said switch via Google with a 1 star review. The issue? Guy said the plugs were mirrored and didn't work. SO looks like I need a new ignition switch.
