Default wiring help.

has anyone installed a remote start/alarm system? I bought a viper 5704v system and i am proficient with electrical work so i assumed I would be able to handle this with no problem. I have found http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/...tail/1152.html
and I have other wire diagrams for my 94 XJ but what none of these tell me is what I need to hook up and what i dont. from what i can see there is only one starter wire but i have 3 different starter wires on the unit. 2 outputs and 1 input. and a ton of wires labled ignition now i know that alot of these wires deal with new cars that have digital security systems but I can seem to figure out what i need and what i dont. here is a link to the wire guide for my unit. https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...338,bs.1,d.aWc
can someone help me with this?

I second that.
Dome light supervision output? Parking light isolation wire? If they actually explained what these things are supposed to do, one could probably figure it out. But they don't and since there are people who do this for a living- I let them.
I'm sorry McWille but I'm as lost as you are!

Well I don't believe the 94 without an alarm would need:
trunk release
defogger
hood pin I/O
brake shutdown unless you have antilock or a gotta press the brake start
door trigger, unless you have power locks
dome light thing, unless you have the one that's on a timer
Most the other stuff I am lost on.....
You can verify you do not have an alarm by looking for a small red button, or a small toggle switch mounted under the dash on the drivers side and it's usually hidden in plain site.

Well the defogger is for the remote start to turn it on in winter, and the brake shutdown is to shut down the engine if the key is not turned (so someone cant steal it) and the kit comes with a hood pin to install. that is because some times these systems with try and start the car on boot up, like if you unplug the battery and reconnect it. the hood pin shutdown is to keep it from trying to start the car while you are working on it. I think i have my guesses in those pics right but I just wish someone with remote start experience would way in.
