Crankshaft sensor, ASD relay and 30 amp fuse (small and big). Check all those first. Probably a bad sensor somewhere.

Exactly how did you verify fuel and spark? The devil is in the details. It's important that you have a strong spark and that your fuel system can get up to a spec. fuel pressure for the engine to fire....

1. Check for QUALITY spark. You need a strong, blue, snapping spark. Yellow/orange/white indicates a weak spark which may not be strong enough to start the engine. A weak spark may be related to a failing ignition coil.

2. If spark checks out, (and only if) try a small splash of gas into the intake or a shot of starting fluid. If the engine starts and runs for a few seconds using this strategy, you have clearly identified a "fuel delivery" problem. For an 87, you need approximately 31 psi of fuel pressure at the fuel rail for the engine to start. Verify with a fuel pressure gauge, which can be rented from many big box parts stores.

Most relays in your box are universal. Swap the Aux fan relay with your ASD relay. Then check all your fueses (repalce if needed) and fire her up.
