My 2001 jeep is same way. I do hear the pump turning on.I'd really like to not replace the pump if at all possible. How many injectors are there? And cleaning out the throttle body has been done with no change. I do have a throttle body spacer but I don't think that makes it the problem by what I'm hearing here. Now is the module different than the pump?

I had the same issue here. Try checking the actual starter. Mine went out while I was in Alaska and my dad had to replace it (so it's not like you need to bring it to a mechanic to do it) and it's about $80 for a re manufactured one when you bring the current one in for a trade in. That's what my dad did at least. And it was like $10 for the tools if you don't have the right ones. But check it out

At most auto part stores they sell small pen-shaped inductive spark testers. They will test for the presence of spark in the spark plug wires without having to disconnect anything. They are very handy, and very much worth having in any Jeep owner's kit.
Use a spark tester placed next to the spark plug or coil wire next time you start the vehicle in the morning. This will tell you pretty quickly whether the first start is failing because spark is not being introduced. If the spark is absent on the first start, it will implicate things like the CPS, ignition coil, engine rotation speed during start, and other electrical/ground connection problems. However, if the spark is present, but no start occurs, it will implicate things like no airflow due to stuck IAC, or fuel delivery problems.
Point is, it will send you in the right direction, instead of guessing.

IF you want to do that just unplug the injectors 1 by 1 and if there is change that one is working and if no change that one is not working.
