I've been having this same problem with my jeep for over a year and its been getting really bad recently but I could never find anything on it until this thread. I knew it wasn't the OD but two things here helped me out a lot. First I had the transmission serviced when I bought it and the fluid level was about a half qt low at temp so i topped that off and the second was resetting the TB cable. Now the jeep drives so much crisper and the "shifting" or Torque converter kicking on and off has gone away. Thanks for the help guys, hope anyone else out there having this problem finds their way here.
