I figured.. I do not have the ability to buy one at this point but am planning to expand my tool set soon.
However, I still need to get these 5 bolts off, any serious suggestions?

Pry bar between bolts on flywheel, or a pry bar on the harmonic balancer.

But serously you shouldn't have an issue putting a ratcget on the flywheel bolts and smacking it with a hammer to loosen them

Any other ideas?

Wrench on one bolt to hold it in place, ratchet on another to loosen it. When you get to the last one. Put a bolt back in. The one you put back in should be easy to get out, even with out another bolt to hold onto. Did something similar to get a free spinning mech fan off.

Metal does not effect the life of a battery. Concrete does.
A battery will not effect spark plugs or cause them to "blow" out.
Agh! But alas, concrete doesn't effect a battery either. That is a very common myth that was proven false

Doing 4x4 swap at some point in time. Where does the other end of the vent tube connect to?

Anywhere out of the way, inside of the frame rail should be fine. Zip tie to anything you can so it doesn't dangle. A good idea is to put something like a small fuel filter on the end to keep water out. Unless the rest have rotted away you should see vent lines from the differentials and transmission up there too

Drivers side tube about halfway between the wheel and the differential, it should actually be near the brake lines.

I was looking at adding a tranny cooler and wondered what the difference is between having it in line before the radiator, or after the radiator?
