You can get nice wheels on Craigslist, lots of the tires on there are retards trying to sell bald tires, at least where I'm from.

sycoglitch,

No, I didn't clean the old switch. The after market switch worked for a while, then did the same as the oem. After doing this a couple of times, yeah I'm pretty sure it's installed properly. I followed the manual procedures and made the adjustments and it worked fine for a while. I've never had backup lights before or since. I'm just tired of standing on my head in the floor trying to even get to the thing, and would rather have a backup option. Thanks.

How hard is it to rebuild a steering grear box from a stock xj?. If there is any pressure on the steering it leaks out of the input where the "bar" comes from the firewall to it.

Iv never pulled a gear box apart and wouldnt even know where tk buy the parts to fix the leaks.

What is the year make model engine size for the dodge durango steering box? Maybe its not much more than the standard boxes on rock auto?

I figure if im going to swap it with a reman i might as well upgrade even though im not pushing large tires or anything at the moment. Just 30's.

Have you ever rebuilt a box before? Is it as simple as just remember which parts you pulled of in what order and replace or is it complex and needs special tools other than snap ring pliers?

Altighty then well seeing as you have experience and say it sucks that would make is suck 10x worse for someone whos never done it.

Also i read the info on some of the remans and they say they come pre set to adjusment and that if you adjust them it voids the warranty.?.?.?

Do you know if they are pretty well adjusted before you install? I know it says it is but alot of stuff sold online isnt exactly what it says it is when you recieve it.
