I guess it would work if you have one... Just use the right gauge wire. Why are you running one is a better question... Stock set up works great for me[/QUOTE]

I'm running one cause my stick mechanical fan had no shroud and was starting to crap out so I bought an electric one for better cooling

might as well drain all the coolant while youre in there. take little screw cap out that's on the passenger side of the rad and most of it will drain.

FWIW a few people have broken their housings trying to clean... if it's original you might as well just toss a new one in

Deep socket and stubby extension would of made it not so.

I've done 100+ stat's on le ol 4.0s. Never removed a belt.

Here's mine and I'm sure I didn't have to do it but I think loosening it made it easier to get the bolt in and out for me. 13mm deep socket got it just fine on both but hey it's done and no leaks with hot heat lol

For you wiring guys. Does this look right to wire a two speed fan to a switch in cab. Each relay is 40A two are wired parallel for high speed and a single 40A for low. Any advice is great

wiring in parallel doesn't change the voltage...so i fail to see how it'll give you high speed unless the fan has a separate high/low power terminal.

And mainly looking to change the amps without spending $30 for a 100A circuit breaker since I already have three 40A relays

well a circuit breaker doesn't change the amps either. Relays, circuit breakers, switches, and fuses are "pass though" items.

You need to add resistance to the low speed side. High speed = full voltage, low speed = reduced voltage.

You need a relay rated at 80 amps or more.
