I pressed the tab and got it to disconnect on that side only. It would not come fully apart. Do I need to press or pry anything on either of the other two sides pictured?

Is there a clip on the otherside? I believe its only the one clip that needs to be pressed in and a lot of wiggling and it should come apart. What connector is this for? Also for the thing inside the coil spring, thats the "bump stop." The hole in the end is normal. Let me know, I can run down and check my 98' if need be

Anyone ever pull the engine trans and tcase in one piece?
I need them all out of my donor XJ and would rather skip reaching the top of those tcase bolts (nuts?) I already have to do it once on the one the case is going in. Lol

I usually wash my engine bay every time I give the jeep a real good wash with a power washer. I stay clear of the alternator, TB and all sensors on that and the air box. I try not spray down anything electrical directly but if it gets a little wet no big deal.

Take note that I bought a set of zinc coated u bolts from fat bobs garage and within two months and only driving one time in the rain, they rusted over so bad I could barely get the nuts off, and couldnt even get them back on.
