Yep the axles from the '98 will bolt right up to your '95. An automatic '98 with the 4.0 is most likely 3.55 gears. For a stick shift they're great gears that allow you to maintain near stock ratios at 31" and 32" tires.

i really aprecheate your anser and thankx for your replay, in fact you really are seeing what is hapening to me..im not a mecanic but i like fix some things i can do in my jeep and im almost sure i will need to replace that injector on my jeep case he had been whit problems in acellaration and speed and im almost sure thats the problem, however i tried to remove it to test but i got stocked in the point i couldnt woark whit the tool case the wire...now my point question is how can i gett off the injector when getting that special tool is difficult to me , and you told here something about "It looks like you could get an adjustable wrench on the injector to unscrew it." so maybe its possible remove the injector whitout that tool and i will trie my best , if i fail well i will have to end in the really mecanic....sometimes i feel little jurke talking here about things but first i like mecanic but im not very expert in this and second im portuguese and some woards i dont undestand the mean of what its telling me here but...i keep trieing..thankx for your attencion
I am in desperate need of help. 1988 Jeep Cherokee Laredo. 4.0 L 4x2. Trouble starting. sometimes turn key and get nothing at all, just silence, but all lights on dash come on. First time mechanic put in new crankshaft position sensor. Also new plugs, ignition wires, rotor, distributor cap, (+) &(-) battery cables. Worked great for 3-4 weeks, then started to get harder to start again. Went back, replaced starter and relay. Again worked great for a few weeks and now can't start again. I would drive it off a cliff, with me in it, but I can't get it started. How can you replace stuff, have it work, and then it gradually goes back to the original problem? I am totally baffled. If anyone has any suggestions before I go back to mechanic, or go insane, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike R.

Is it clicking at all when you turn the key? Do the dash lights dim? Headlights dim?
Step 1 - get the battery LOAD TESTED at your local parts store. Checking the voltage is not enough.
Step 2 - check all the fuses - both underhood and inside the cab. Also try swapping relays around to see if you have a bad one (swap the A/C or aux fan or other non-vital relay with the starting system relays)
Step 3 - follow the rest of my writeup here:

What's the best way to remove the bolt for the sway bar links on the axle? Like the torx bolt I think it is.

When i was replacing the bent link on mine, i used a vice clamp and wedged it on the axle. Then went at the nut with a can of PB buster and a socket wrench using my jack handle as a cheater bar.
