odd starting problem
hi, I have a 91 cherokee, and I have an electical issue (big surprise right?!) anyways, my issue is starting. What is odd is crusty chuck desides when she wants to start or not. When I turn the key, it will make the usual fuel pump buzzing noise, but sometimes when I continue to twist after the buzzing noise, I get nothing. No cranking, it is like the starter just isn't getting any juice. Then I will try it again, and usually it will start, but sometimes it takes me quite awhile.
what I have done so far is check the wires into the starter, I cleaned it, and looked at all the connections, which look fine. The hot wire where it attaches to the battery has some freyed wires at the end, so I moved the wire up closer into the battery to get around the freyed wires, and it didn't do anything. I looked at the fuse box down by my feet, at the wire that says ign, and cleaned it and replaced it, no difference. Then I got into the fuse box by the engine and pulled the little starter plug and cleaned it and stuff, still no issue.
obveously I need a electrical tester, but I was wondering if there was another simple place I could check without one, which might be right in front of my face and obveous, or if anyone else has had this issue. Thanks for any help in advance, and thank you for your time :-)

nah. its like brake fluid(i believe). its mostly how dense the fluid is. plus the chemicals in them. if you mix two tranny fluids together u could risk a chemical reaction that will trash your tranny.. and when the trannys gone. the TC and the engine arent too far behind if pushed too far..

Transmissions are VERY sensitivfe to changes with in them. so much as TOUCHING a particular surface on the inside and render a transmiissson done and useless. due to the micro dirt on fingers and such that is left behind. so any chane in fluids in trannies except (bbraands when u doin a full tranny service) does have an effect on the transmission.

Can any one tell me the difference between a 96 grand cherokee 4.0 head and a 95 chreokee 4.0 head because i just put the 96 head on my 95 block? When tightening down the rocker arms all of the valves are open causing no compression in any cylinder, its like the push rods are to long. But the part numbers are the same between the 2 years for the rockers, push rods, and lifters.
