Get the ones with soldier cores and heat shrink like I did and they will be a permanent solution.
I like that thanks. So basically you got to find 3 XJs. How come the passenger side is such a pain?

Both? All models should have 3 on the driver side and 4 on the passenger. Also depends on whether they have power locks, windows etc

Got a couple for sale around here around $200 with 4.10 in them. Need one to match my complete 8.25 29 spline axle with Detroit True Traac 4.10 I picked up for $300.
I currently have the dredded 2000 XJ with the low pinion D30
Yeah all the TJs are low pinion. It is the lame. Not 100% sure if this will work, but 4 cyl YJs should have come with 4.10s too, right? They were the only other jeep with HP D30 so the ring and pinion are cut the same way... you might be able to find an HP D30 housing with coil spring perches, get the YJ gears, and run shafts and spiders from a later XJ for stronger U-joints and moar splines. 4 cyl YJs are the only YJs at my local JY.

I never completely understood the GC doors to be honest. Can they just be unplugged or something?

Real easy to tap on someone's name from the phone app instead of a button or their post. If you're in trouble you will be spoken to lol.

I can't say for the moderators here, but i moderate on a few web sites myself. I personally poke people if they start getting outta line, then break out the BanHammer if they don't listen. You'll be fine, they're probably just looking at your photo album anyways.

Damn. Thought that was too good a deal.
Have never seen a 4 cyl XJ personally.
So all the YJs had leaf spring D30s?
I'll just have to get a XJ HP D30 housing and run a locker with new 4.10s then.

I've got the overhead console in my '98 XJ, and it fills up with water behind the screen then drips out.
There's no sign of water coming in around the edge of the windshield, and I've tightened the roof rails. Where could this be coming from??
