PS I have access to snap on solus but no codes present when it does this

Anyone have an idea to my problem

X2. I'm getting a zone lift 3" shorty in the mail. I'm happy with their shocks so coils and springs should be good too

There's no sign of water coming in around the edge of the windshield, and I've tightened the roof rails. Where could this be coming from??
lol all of us california guys. i think we have foujnd the solution to the water shortage! ahhaha spontaneous creationof water from this guys jeep!

to be honest u might have a leakin the roof. it might be ur doors seals. i know it makes no sense to me either...

Honestly you might as well just knock them all out. They all leak unfortunately. That's what I did. The gaskets aren't very expensive. Assuming your doing the work yourself its a great idea and piece of mind.

You can go to your local Chrysler dealer and get those o rings for like 4 bucks for the oil filter adapter. Very cheap and they ALL leak. But it's hard to get to so you might want to make one of these...

T40 socket hacked in half and welded on an open end wrench. Find a longer one.. You'll be able to get more leverage. And trust me that one bolt is in there tight!

when removin the IAC. do it very carefully. its just two screws. but when u pull it out. be very careful to not move the plunger in or out. take a old toothbrush and some brakes parts cleaner(not sold anymore so u will have to find a nieghbor who has some) or carb cleaner and clean all the grime off. clean air filter. or replace it. check distributer wires for breaks or shorts. How many miles does the jeep have? and check vacuum lines. you made a wise choice by comin to CF.com. iknow yaho answers was NOT helpful s most of the mechaincs onthere arent XJ owners and dont know how AWESOME these jeeps are and would call it a lemon.
Thanks for the info. I will run it by my husband. Last night he went ahead and cleaned the idle air sensor..said it was pretty grubby. Interesting thought on the air filter; which we have replaced before fixing rear main. Looks to be nasty again, so probably should get a new one, now that the oil leak is gone. It has 195,000 miles on it, the owner was a family friend who passed away suddenly. He was in the middle of fixing it up-used it for hunting and getting to work. Know anything about the crankshaft postioning sensor? He had it earmarked in the Jeep manual. We previously had a 1990 Cherokee Laredo and loved it! Great in the snow..my daughter is excited to have one now, but we don't want her breaking down all over the place..
