Also, when I took the rubber tubes off the water pump, it was dry and dusty inside, even after the jeep had been running... ???

I literally just bought the jeep and drove it home and parked it for maintenance..
I fixed all leaks and changed all fluids, it had 2 freeze plugs pouring water and the hose coming from the radiator to the engine jets water. I fixed the freeze plugs and changed the hose. Filled it with water and the new hose started blowing water. And if that one has enough pressure to blow holes in it's self and the pump isn't getting any water at all, makes me wonder if there is a clog in the engine cooling system??

Your head gasket is blown off of those symptoms... Even though water out of tail pipe could just be condensation from the engine, it's blown based off of everything else. What year is it? You need to flush out your system while you have it that much apart, radiator and block

Check the inlet tube that runs to the water pump to see if it has a blockage. That happens to be where mine has a small leak.
Hard starts and hessitaion on acceleration
Hey all! I have a 94 Cherokee that has a hesitation or stumble when i accelerate. More noticeable when it comes up to operating temperature. I have also noticed over the last few months its "hard start". Before it would always fire right up, even cold. It started slow, a sputter going up a hill. Then it turned to every time there was any kind of load (giving it more gas to go fast or a hill) it would bog down until i eased back off the pedal. I have no codes being put out. The last code i got was for a TPS two years ago when it would high idle. I replaced the fuel filter. 310,000 miles on a fuel filter is not something I'm proud of saying. But, I did. I took apart the filter and it was really not that bad. A little dirt, but otherwise a clean filter. Next I tuned it up as I do every summer; plugs, wires, rotor, cap, air filter. No change. I had a front axle universal joint replaced and the mechanic took it for a test drive and said it was the catalyst converter. Took it out and strait piped it. No Change. In 98 i remember it was hard to start and took it to the "shop" and they replaced the fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump. Thats another story in itself. I drive my red jeep to work every day 100 miles to and fro. I have also in the past had to replace the crank position sensor, It kept dying on me until it cooled off. I have been reading post about the FPR and a check valve on the electric pump. I went to AZ and used one of their testers and it read 0psi. Pretty sure it was a defective tester. I am waiting until Monday to go to another store to use their tester to further investigate. My question is, what else should i be looking for? My symptoms don't match anyone's so far. Any ideas? Looking forward to your responses. Thanks. Jeep on!

prestone flush kit. it's about $5 and you cut you're heater inlet hose and attach a plastic hose with a garden hose attachment, attach a pipe they give to the radiator and pump water through till it comes out of the rad. start the engine and do it till it runs clear. I was amazed how much crud came out.

Iv been getting a squeak under full throttle or hard acceleration. Its usually higher in rpms when it will sqeak. Well i was under the hood today and tring to see what the squeak was. Well when accelerating I noticed my belt is shifting on the fan pulley. My belt is very tight and i know its not slipping but under acceleration something makes it shift to the front of vehicle. Anyone know what it could be?
Heres a video of it. Try to watch the center of the screen you can see the belt shifting on the pulley and moving.
