OK. So I've only got half way through drilling out broken shock bolts.

How bad would it be to ride with one shock? Would it put too much stress on just the one?

I've been riding without rear shocks for going on 2 weeks now. I'd love to have at least one but I don't want to break the mount or the shock.

shouldnt matter, but why are you rilling the bolts? have you tried punching them out? it only took a couple of whacks to get mine out. all four of them broke.

All four of mine are completely blown, and I still haul cargo. It's a pain to drive, and I slow down a lot for corners, but you'll be fine.

Yea all four of them broke. I tried like hell with a punch first they weren't budging. Which sucks cause I HATE drilling, broken bits, dull bits... taps all that ****. Least favorite part of auto repair.

So one side is fine then. That's cool because hopefully it will keep that rear end under control until I can get back to the other side next weekend.

get an air chisel. I didnt have a big enough hammer to hammer mine out, even after trying for 10 min on one. Got out the air chisel and it tool all of 5 seconds for all of them. Dont drill them out, thats pointless. All you'll do is break ease outs.

Tried air hammer too. I only had a pointed bit though not a real punch either way it didn't move. I'm not using easy outs I'm drilling out to 5/16th and tapping for 3/8ths bolts.

Hell if an easy out DID manage to get one out I bet those threads would still be trashed. Lol.
