For anybody still wandering.. The bumper is home made. Any thoughts on it? I kinda like it alright, and the price is right for 200 bucks, probably get it for 150. Figure if nothing else i can just cut the brush guard off and have a decent bumper that's at least stronger then stock. May get some tie in's and put some D rings on it so i'll actually have a recovery point in the front.

Has to be TIGHT that bolt is the number one cause of death wobble, why won't the nut go on?

Just get a new nut and bolt, if you hammered the bolt it probably stripped some threads.

It was a factory defect. The oil filter adapter (part that the filter screws into) was prone to leak. They have a replacement part you can order, I believe around 40 bucks, that's supposed to fix the issue. My 98 does it to I have to add a quart once a month or so.

If you are going to remove the adapter you should do the mod. No new parts are needed. Just remove the bolt that the filter screws onto and put that in your block. Use side clutters to remove the crush pin that is in the block that keeps the adapter from turning. I have to look up the filter size which will screw directly to the block now on the bolt that was removed from the filter and screwed into the block.

I appreciate the responses guys. Iv seen the oil filter mod however Id like to keep the housing in there and Im told it can be a tight fit for the filter. I opened the hood and looked from the top and couldnt see any oil so I crawled underneath (the puddle has grown over night) and looked up to see oil dripping from the base of the oil filter onto the wire going to the starter and then finally onto the ground. Its a brand new purolator pureone filter. I dont see oil coming out of the adapter however it still could be leaking. The local dealer has a replacement one for $46. Driving over an hour Saturday to go wheeling and this is really bugging me. I replaced the o-rings with ones from the kit you find in the HELP isle but maybe the adapter is warped. I also put a thin coat of oil over the o-rings before assembly... Is my best bet to purchase a new adapter?
