Any ideas if the K&N air filter cleaner will work on my cold air intake or should i just buy a new cone filter? The PO never provided me with any paperwork for the CAI. its not home brew tho. Seeing as it already passed smog I dont really mind it having no paperwork. I can always swap the stock airbox back in....

Sell that thing and put the stock air box back on IMO... Thats what i did. No real benefit to having one on there... Cowl intake could do you some good but not much other than that...

+1 Warm Air Intake not that great. Cowl intake or a "real" snorkle

Default Heater Core Replacement 2000 Jeep Cherokee

Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to remove the heater core from a 2000 Jeep Cherokee through the engine hood instead of removing the dashboard. I'm not concerned about the cosmetics--I just want to put a new heater core in without all the work and expense of removing the dashboard.
If we cut a hole in the firewall from outside the car, is the core accessible?

X2, plus if you did destroy your firewall to get it out that way, you would no longer have a way to mount your blower motor. I replaced my heater core about a year ago. It sucked taking apart my dashboard but i learned alot about my jeep. There is a great write up on here to help. Good luck.

Hey I can't get the lower track bar mounted to the axle. The bolts in there but the nuts not on it. I drive it around the yard like that and it did fine. Is there ANYWAY I can drive it like this to the hardware store to get a bolt then drive back?
