Haha. Thanks guys! I'll look into the TPS, seems like it couldn't hurt either way. I was just thoroughly confused by the engine dying, with no light or codes being thrown.

Hey doublezero...I hope for your sake it is a vacuum leak ...those little doors when they stop opening and closing are a bear...or if it is the hose lines that carry the heated air. break or become disconnected..be prepared to be digging into the dash etc....not fun...our local auto body guy won't even fix his daughters heater stuff as that is what is broke or malfunctioning and it ain't worth the time and trouble and his an auto body guy!

What is the preferred brand when doing a tune up (wires, distributor, rotor)?
Are there ones to avoid? I want good solid bulletproof quality, but don't need to buy $500 overpriced for it's own sake.
Bosch?
Also, does distributor/rotor come in a single package? I just want to replace as much as I can, exclusing the CAM sensor (dissy switch plate)

Is there something line this for 1998-2001 XJ's? I'd like to clean all the grounds but have not been able to find an illustrated checklist.

On my '98 ZJ, the rear wiper will not run if the tailgate or rear glass is open. (Not shown in my Haynes manual wiring diagram).
Check the tailgate and glass switches.

yea i just took some off. It was 1 1/8" for the dana30 and 1 1/4" for the c8.25.

Does anyone think My YJ Tires will fit on the Cherokee? I'm going to snow country and would rather have the more aggressive tread...

They'll probably fit. Might hit the front bumpercap, if so just take them off. We put 31's on my buddies ol junker cherokee he had and it didnt really rub at all on stock lift.. And it actually had the same wheels on it as your wrangler. Rubbed the LCA's when you turned the wheel all the way, but other than that it did decent. Hell try it, if it dont work trade em back.
