If you can get to the back side of that ball stud, you could drill a new hole an inch lower and use a ball stud that bolts in vs. weld in. You would have to take a grinder and cut off the existing one and all that goose poop weld around it though. But I think with a fender washer behind it you'd be set.
Or maybe this is the perfect excuse to buy a small 'suitcase' welder
I can't weld anyway. My brother can "supposedly" weld and so can my fathe but seeing how neither of them have welders..... Not too sure.

So I'm continuing to hook up my audio system and have another question. I have a 4 gauge power wire from the battery with a 100 amp inline wire. It is run to the back of the jeep to which it will hook up to a 8 gauge power distribution block. Now, this is an unfused distribution block so should I have fuses on the 2 eight gauge wires coming from it going to my amps?

Ok thanks cause I was reading on car audio forum that it was. But it ie a complete kit that costs a lot so I'm sure if it was needed it would have came with one. I'm still trying to figure out why they sent me two of the same distribution blocks in the kit... My only thought is that it was an accident.

Attachment 162382
Plug them in and see if they work. If not switch them. No damage will come reversing RCA cables

Default 1988 jeep wagoneer car alarm questions

ok so heres my question. i purchased this jeep in april of 2012 and it was all stock with 50,000 original miles. well i was tightening the bolts that come loose in the steering column and i looked under the dash and theres this little yellow box that says amc on in at theres 3 different adjustment screws. im looking to figure out 1 what each is for and 2 if im able to find a car alarm remote to program to it if it works. 1 says sensitivity adj. another says low sw. speed adj. and the last one is centering adj. any help would be great. i can post pictures if needed
