Why exactly do spark plug WIRES need to be replaced in a tune up? No other wires are ever replaced in a truck for 200k miles unless they fray. What's different? Has anyone gone 200k miles with a single set of spark plug wires?

im thinking its because of the intermittent pulse that'll cause the wire to become 'wore out'. ever seen a small gauge wire pushing a large current for awhile? it'll cause it to burn up on the inside of the wire itself under the rubber outside. maybe that?

or how about i have no friggin clue and i totally bs'd that ^^...

That's nuts, but go some google searching.
Correct tire air pressure**
O2 sensor**
Coolant temp sensor?
Cracked exhaust manifold
Huge tires?
General tune up? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor
Plugged Cat?
Clean throttle body
MAP Sensor
Fuel filter?
Seized hub bearings / u-joints?

naa that stinger has been on the jeep for a total of 3 days....its gotten horrible gas mileage since day 1 (of me owning it) could it have somthing to do with the lack of a vacuum line from the valve cover to the air box?

Lol. No. That would not cause that terrible mileage. Any other symptoms? Lack of power. Fuel leaks. Yada yada

I know mine is a little bit somewhere... Like it comes from the top and I can see a little bit on the passenger side of the tank
