I don't remember how much to put in oil. I haven't done that one myself, but it's very important to drive less then 200 miles between adding Seafoam and changing oil. Past that, things can break. I do a little over half in the brake booster and pour the rest in the gas tank, about two or three times a year. The first one will probably make a ton of smoke. If you do it reasonably often after that, it just keeps the motor, fuel rail, and injectors cleaned out.

If I recall I did 1/3rd in the tank, 1/3in the intake, and 1/3rd in the oil. Id have to go look at the directions on the can to be sure. When sucking it up with a brake booster line or dumping it into the intake allow it to suck it up very slow. You will notice each drop you add will make the engine bog down, if you add to much to fast it will stall so add a drop, wait a second to let it get back up to proper idle rpm and add more. Theres a millions threads on it, check a few out to verify the procedure before you do it. If you put some in the oil make sure to change the oil shortly after.

Interesting, my 4.0 wanted to bog down and stall after it sucked up the slightest amount. You must have happy 4.0's.

edit: remember were trying to get the 4.0 running better, not worse If you use the 2 stroke fuel look into a tune up afterwards and using seafoam will not only clean out the engine, it will clean out the 2 stroke fuel you put in. Then change your oil and filter after the seafoam. Oh and refill your gas tank before it hits E!

If it were an emergency you could but I wouldnt. If you already ran your Jeep low enough on fuel id atleast try to limp it to the gas station. You can use 2 stroke fuel however it can foul spark plugs and clog fuel injection system components such as injectors. It can also cause smoke to come out the exhuast. Do a google search, some people note no bad effects but its typically when adding some to a tank of gasoline. Its not recommended but can be done but it does have negative effects.

If anything it will increase mpg, smoother idle... the mist from the 4 holes is easier to compress and ignite than the thicker stream of fuel from the stock single hole injectors. depending on if its the same system as my 98' 4.0. Maybe someone who knows renix will chime in.

I did the 703 injectors mod, my mileage went up about 3-5mpg and the throttle response is wonderful now.
And i used injectors from the junkyard, didn't even clean them before installing. I did run a cleaner through the system though.

If you have no other vehicles to siphon it out of, no extra tanks laying around with fuel, no ride and you cant call anyone, and your not willing to walk. You will decide whether or not you want to put the 2 stroke fuel in. You could try to drive it as far as it will go, if it doesnt make it walk the remaining distance and either bring an empty tank or buy one from the gas station.
im waiting on my job to call me back to work...then i gotta bum money from mom to get back and forth to work for 2-3 weeks and pay her back....

Were they just out of a 2.0 breeze/neon? did you just back flush with brake cleaner then normal flush them?
