Stop the presses! Is your bolt facing UP??? WTF@! That is totally opposite of the photo that was posted earlier where the bolt faces downwards.
In the photo, how the F would you thread this bolt through the nut up in the cavity?

Do you now understand what I was saying, and what that's basically impossible?
This is a great example of why this stuff takes 2 hours to learn online vs. 60 seconds mins. if you had someone show you in real life.

What's the right way? To put the bolt facing upwards like you said,or to make the bolt point down like in the photo.
If you make it point down, there's no way in hell you're getting a wrench and nut above that hole and threading the bolt through it before it pops down through the hole.

No cause I didn't see that pic.
Ant that way is possible too.
Just no nut on a wrench. See the problem is too many people chimes in and wires got crossed.
Either way is possible.

How the heck do you put a bolt through a nut that is jammed into a tiny space that doesn't fit your hand?????? There is a small "crawl space" ABOVE the hole in the unibody (or frame, or whatever the F it's called). You are saying to put a nut UP in there inside a box wrench. Then you're supposed to fish a bolt ALSO up in that little space ABOVE the frame, and magically thread your bolt thru a nut that you can't even SEE? Then, once the bot is wrenched thru the nut, the bolt can then drop down thru the hole in the frame, and then stick out and point down like in the photo? BOTH the nut and bolt are currently ABOVE the hole in the frame. How on earth are you supposed to turn the bolt (or even stand it up) while they are both in that tiny little cavity above the hole in the unibody/frame?
It really is simple. any decent mechanic can tack weld a nut to a hanger and fish it right up there. i had too. i snapped 1 bolt when i did my rear shocks. tried tapping out the broken bolts, got 3 easily but 1 i destroyed the welded nut. so me and my mechanic friend welded a bolt to a hanger and fished it through the space and voila. it is really easy.

Nope. Fine thread that's all I know. It's a hardened bolt. Normal hardware store **** won't fly.

The new bolt doesn't thread through the nut, the nut gets hammered out, pm me if you can figure it out, and I'll try to explain it in detail.

Im replacing my manifold right now and I got the manifold on but when I try to put the intake back on the dowel or pin in the back of the motor doesn't line up with the hole on the intake. I've tried grinding the hole a slight bit and having someone under guide me in. No luck. Any tips or something that worked for you? By the way it's a 98 with an APN header.

This is quite possibly the most useless video I have ever seen.

He basically has done everything already and just talks.
He doesn't show how you chisel the bolt out.
He doesn't say how you retrieve the busted out old bolt. (Do you just leave it and let it rattle there forever?)
He doesn't show how the heck you secure the bolt head when you try to spin a nut on.

He also talks into a pillow, just to make things extra clear.
Absolute rubbish pointless waste of time video.

that was a good vid. you just take a hammer and punch and punch the nuts out, its verry simple. and you can use one of those magnet stick things to get the old nuts out. you dont need a wrench on the bolt to tighten it, just hold the bolt while you start the nut and it will get tight, thats what the lock washer is for.

You should take your jeep to a shop if you cant simply figure it out from that guy talkingin the video.

Heres the steps:
Step 1: Beat the damn nuts and bolts out so you have a hole to put a new bolt through.

(how to do step 1..... Do whatever the f u c k you gotta do)

Step 2: Fish the wire through like the guy in the video says

Step 3: tighten the damn thing down.
