Im replacing my manifold right now and I got the manifold on but when I try to put the intake back on the dowel or pin in the back of the motor doesn't line up with the hole on the intake. I've tried grinding the hole a slight bit and having someone under guide me in. No luck. Any tips or something that worked for you? By the way it's a 98 with an APN header.

I've ground down the bridge on the intake between the 4th and 5th and it hasn't helped yet. I think I need to grind theb6th runner on the manifold next..

Try googleing apn header install issues or something and you should find someone that had the similar problem. Maybe a mirror and a flashlight will show you something your missing.

Thanks for the help. They are good for 3-4.5in of lift. The bushings in my stock lowers need replaced so I feel its time to upgrade anyhow. If anything, will it increase my caster angle?
