Pull it?

I've pulled my gauge cluster several times, but I've never touched my steering column bolts.

From what I've heard, the 96s have a different/larger column cover. I don't know if I can pull it off without breaking it...

If you're talking about the plastic cover, just use a flathead.

I always take mine off when i take the cluster off.. Wayy to much flexing for my comfort going over that thing. I'm pretty sure the deep holes are just philips.. and the middle one is a torx, just use a flathead on it.

not sure, it's really hard to see inside of the deep holes, but it looked like a hex to me. i'll go try real quick, it's starting to rain though so if that doesn't work I'm done for tonight.

That breaks very easy just letting you know. I would just try and find a torx long enough. You'll end up breaking one of the two without it..

It should be a Phillips.

Pretty sure it's not a Phillips. It looks like it's a hex for some odd *** reason. Or maybe a really stripped torx.

Could have been taken out and changed somewhere along the road. I remember my 95 having torx mixed up here and there

Dana 35 or Chrysler 8.5? Everything to me says 8.5 but I'm a total noob so a second opinion is always nice.
