Now, where to get those.... if its too exspensive may look at making them, the dring mount part at least.

Why would that NOT work with a 99? Lol my DD is a 99.

I dont necessarily want a reciever, i think im a go the route of stock or aftermarket tow hook brackets and then make a dring adapter for it.

Idk why it won't fit lol never notice that... An adapter might not be strong enough if you yank on it

My problem, I recently purchased a '96 cherokee classic, brought it to my friends shop for an oil change and heater control vale, and on the way there, it started making a noise in the mid to front end like it was in 4 wheel drive but not all the way, or like something went loose in the transfer case, we put it on the lift and it only made the noise when in drive, my friend and another mechanic said it was the torque converter, I know the work that is needed for this job, a round about price for the converter and labor? I know prices are different in other states than NY, thanks in advance for any help
So.... took the converter out and replaced it, runs great now! next on the list, shocks and all front bushings!

It would probably only be if I ever got stuck in the snow, or the weakest of mud holes or trails. I don't ever really plan on wheeling it, its just the DD... the wheeler will get a real bumper.

I guess they would be more for looks and a better tow point than my axle.

If you don't mind waiting until summer I'll sell you my three stock tow hooks. I'll have a front bumper by then and I don't need them anymore. If not autozone sells 10000lb tow hooks for $10

Maybe spring... lol. I just want the brackets though.

Where is your third stock tow hook?

Driver side in the rear. Pretty close to the leaf spring IIRC

Found some Mickey thompson Sidebiter wheels on jeg.com, the backspacing is 3.31" for 15x8. Would they stick out way too far or put more stress on the hubs or anythig like that?

I'd imagine it's the CPS. Even more if it's original.
