When switching to a Ford 8.8 what all is needed? I know new spring perches and shock mounts, but what about drive shafts? What years are best to get one from?

You will need. U joint flange adaptor, you can get that from iron rock offroad, a post 97 explorer iirc is the best candidate.

You can find the same size flange adapter on some model Ford Rangers and F-150s as well.

Best bet is to pull the flange with the axle.

The flange adapter hold the axle end of the U-joint and bolts to the axle yoke.

Normal for a lot of axles - the differential housing appears slightly offset in order for the pinion to be centered, and also to house the bulk of the ring gear which hangs off one side of the assembly inside. Don't forget the actual axle shafts are the same length.

Im having a coolant leak issue and I cant seem to find the exact source. It seems to be coming from under the intake manifold. Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

Sounds like a bad head gasket. Or freeze plug

Freeze plug more than likely if its for sure coming from under the intake. Otherwise look at the radiator hoses, especially the lower hose.

Sounds like a throttle position sensor. Wait for a second opinion.
