Well i plan to start powdercoating as a side source of money and i want to practice on my stuff before i do. Also powdercoating is cheap if you have the equipment. If you had the equipment you could paint some coils for about $2.50-4 in powder. Im currently getting all the necissary equipment together and will start in a couple weeks.

What gear oil should I use in my rear diff? Book says 75w-90 API-GL5. Should I go with that or something more heavy duty since I have 33s

If you mainy do offroad 75-140 is good if not, you will be fine with 75-90 or 80-90 gear oil.

I read it on a powder coating companies website (they were here in Indiana) but they said the temps that stuff is powder coated at isn't enough to harm springs or change they spring rate.

Yea, mod coils come powder coated, so it can't hurt.
