The zone 4.5" lift comes with a 1" tcase drop. This will be fine to use until you have the money to buy a sye. Also, the tcase drop they provide is pretty good quality. Good thick steel bars.

Thanks for all the info where is a good place to purchase a SYE? And if I get the zone 4.5" lift with rear leafs can I drive around for a couple of weeks without a SYE before doing serious damage to the drive system? Also looking at the lift it seems to have everything but a new track bar? Will the old one work for temp.?

Yes you will be fine driving without the sye for a while. Look at iron rock off road for a sye and track bar. I think rough country has an sye on their site. And you will be fine with the stock track bar for a little while until you order a new one, they have you drill a new hole for it. I am running the stock track bar but am ordering the iro one.

If you lift it without a track bar, I would make that top priority afterward, THEN the SYE. Frankly, though, I would save up the extra $200 and do it all at once with the track bar. The SYE can then wait a few more weeks.

Again, I suggest a double shear track bar. Better range of motion, with less stress, and it eliminates the tie rod end.

thats cuz like Clown said its only a bandaid. a SYE would fix the problem instead of just the symtoms like the TC drop does. Besides. why not spend the extra money and reduce your DW chances by alot more. Me i would rather pay out a another couple chundred. but if your budget doesnt cover it well i say wait to do the install til u can. otherwise you will just spend all your money on the lift and the required upgrades(except the SYE) and then you will have to start from scratch savin up. then you have to get BACK under the jeep a second job to do the SYE aqnd maybe undo the TC drop(i not too sure on this one feel free to fill me in on my mistakes. as i do not want to give him bad advice.....)

Anyhow. just do the job once and boom your set to keep a rollin for a long time.

ANy how. anyone who has any comments on this. tell me. i value all criticism and i tend to stay away from tech for a reason.....

For some reason it seems like that is the most info directed to one user in a set period of time that has been posted on this thread.
