Everything is tight. I just replaced the lowers a week ago (with a set of stockers I had laying around).
I can grab the uppers and move them a tad side to side..Havent had them off yet though.

You could be right though..
Other things this POS does..
I hear a tick tick tick with each wheel revolution coming from teh drivers side ..stops when I brake..
Also pulls to the left if I get on the brakes hard enough.
Okay then you really need to inspect your pins. That tick tick could simply be the rotor touching the backing plate

Probably the switch. I just want to ask if switch failure is common. Darn switch costs $60 (with shipping - cost more to ship than the part is worth) from Rock Auto !!
Huh. Could've swore I read (at least on my 99) they ran live power thru the switch. Could be wrong... prolly am.

Anyways, id look at the JY for a switch.

might be the type of pads you put on - some make more noise than others.
Also you may need to grease the back of the pads before you install them in the caliper.

or your brakes are shot

They're still good. I think the pads are just ****. What's a good replacement? I want ceramic ones but any particular brand?

Napa ceramics. Then get your ****ing rotors turned before you toss the pads on. Grease every contact area between the pads and bracket and caliper. Also thoroughly clean and lube pins.

The caliper must move side to side. To make up for the pad wear.
