stock is 17" from center to flare. I wouldnt bother with it unless you plan on lifting it, which i would recommend over getting stock replacement parts.

No need to replace brake lines at 3" of lift. Straighten out the hard lines in the front and you'll be fine.

There is a need, or get brackets. With my 3" with AAL my rear brake lines were full extended on flat ground and damn near broken when flexing.

I've been on 3" for 3 years now and never had that problem. They're close when flexing, but not all the way.

My point is, it's better to have extended brake lines or drop brackets. Obviously not necessary, but I'd recommend them.

I am going to ask a question that I never really thought to ask - What is the value of the lift other than higher clearance and to some aesthetics?

This is a daily driver car with the occasional trip to Big Bend national park on their dirt / roads and some trips to the beach. It is 2wd.

You can fit a larger tire size and increases your capability offroad.
